Hotel Boats

We’ll assess and rate your hotel boat to help boost your business

Joining the VisitEngland Hotel Boat Scheme

Is this the scheme for me?

This scheme is for those offering serviced accommodation on a boat on a waterway. Hotel boats tend to be narrowboats worked by a crew, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the ride, but also giving them the opportunity to help if they choose. The star ratings reflect a combination of the services, facilities and overall quality and comfort of the boat.

How to apply

  • Download the information pack and review the Quality Standards relating to your scheme to find out more about what the assessor will be looking at when they come to assess your hotel boat
  • Call us to get a quote for joining the scheme
  • Download and complete the application form, and return it to us with your complete payment. We accept payment by credit/debit card, BACS, cheque or direct debit
